Bioinformatics Teaching Schedule

Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Master Schedule First Year (2012-2013)

Starting the academic year 2012-2013, the VU FEW/FALW master Bioinformatics and Systems Biology will be merged with the UvA Master Life Sciences: Systems Biology and Bioinformatics.

Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Master Schedule First Year (2011-2012)
Starting the academic year 2011-2012, the VU FEW master Bioinformatics will be merged together with the VU FALW master Systems Biology. Also, all courses will now be scheduled over two months periods (except in period 3 and 6). The revised, preliminary programme can be viewed below.

    • 18 ects differentiate between the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology profiles

* schedule of 'Proposal Writing and Seminar Series' is flexible and not limited to Period 6 in the first year
Second year:
  • 60 ects of projects:
    • major (max. 42 ects) must match profile (Bioinformatics or Systems Biology)
